- Waving and saying bye to me when I put him in bed for nap and sometimes bedtime. He is doing so good going to bed, he knows he is tired and won't fight me.
- Giving hugs and kisses all the time, especially the baby. He even gave Ryan's brother a kiss goodbye on Sunday when we left their house and then blew kisses. He stopped giving kisses a few months ago. I am glad they are back!
- Talking so much better with his words. He still does his jibberish but is finally using more words he knows in his language which is nice to know what he is talking about.
- Pointing and saying the name of things in books. He can also tell you what noise some animals or things make. At church he saw a tiger in one of his books and roared.
- He is so into cars, trucks, and trains right now. He loves to make cars go vroom and the train he puts his arm in the air and makes a noise. He loves to push them all over the house and anywhere else we go. His 2 favorite cars we have lost but hopefully can find them soon because I am worried his train will get worn out!
- Just this week he will now fold his arms for prayers. We have been working really hard trying to get Drew to understand what to do during prayer time and it finally clicked. Ryan and I were both so excited for this milestone.
- Watching Drew watch his cartoons. I know it is bad to let your kids watch TV but when you only have 1 kid and pregnant with the 2nd and it is so hot outside, there is only so much you can do to entertain your child. I do limit TV time, probably not as good as I should, but hey, I will work on it this fall and winter. His favorite show is Wow, Wow, Wubbzy and he gets so into it that you sometimes can't get his attention. Sometimes, he is so entertained, he cracks up and rolls on the floor. I am trying to get this on video but it is hard.
Ok, so super long post, but all this has happened within the week.
Baby update: just about 4 weeks left. I see my doctor tomorrow! If there is any news to share, I will do so. She is still so much quieter than Drew. Moves around here and there but not too much in the kicking department, which I am not complaining. My feet are not quite as swollen as last week but my wonderful husband suggested putting ice packs on them and that did wonders! It really helped.
