Today is our 7 year anniversary! Wow, I can't believe it has already been 7 years. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband. When Ryan and I were first dating, I didn't think I would marry him. I wrote to him on his mission and a month before he got home, I told my roommates, we would be nothing more than friends. I even canceled my plane ticket to see him the weekend he got home. Well, the day he got home, he called me. I still remember that phone call. I was all smiles. We ended up talking the whole weekend over the phone and by the next weekend, I knew I was going to marry him. 7 years later, we have only begun our family and there is still so much we want to do together. I am so grateful we took lots of trips before starting kids because now, just going on a date is a treat for us. But we have so many memories of all the trips we went on that will hold us over till we can do more traveling. Ryan is such a fabulous husband and an awesome father. Yes, we have our challenges, and we aren't the perfect couple, but we work together and love each other for who we are. We balance each other out which I think makes us perfect. Thanks honey for a wonderful 7 years!

Catching Up on Kylee
Oh good golly...I don't even know where to begin with this cutie. I am so blessed to have our sweet Girly in our family. Kylee has a few nicknames: Ryan calls her Bug, I call her Girly, and Drew calls her Baby. But recently, Drew has called her by her actual name. So it depends on who is talking to her as to what name she is called. Kylee is usually such a happy, go with the flow, kind of girl. Unless it is close to nap time or feeding time, she never really gives me attitude. Now, the only exception is when she has a darn cold, she hates a plugged up nose, especially when she has to sleep with it! But who does.
She now has a total of 4 teeth. She got her bottom 2 the end of May and her top two just poked through this week. I didn't even know she was getting her first tooth until I saw it. She was a little cranky with her top 2 teeth coming in but she also got a cold too so I don't know which one was the culprit. She is a great eater and loves any kind of squash and in the fruit department she loves bananas, apples, and pears. She does like prunes but I hate what they do to her shirts when she spits up so she doesn't get them very often. She recently found a love for Cheerios and Puffs...Oh and cookies Drew likes to leave on the floor. Yes, she about choked on a little chocolate chip bunny cookie. She must have really wanted it because she beat the dog to it, which is very unusual.
Kylee LOVES to scoot everywhere, especially to the dog's food and water. It's actually quite amusing. No matter which is closest, she always knocks over the bowl with the food and just puts her had in the water bowl and plays with it. She is no longer allowed to be in her jumperoo, doctor's orders, but she kind of got bored with it last week and has found a love for her exersaucer. As long as she doesn't have a cold or a double ear infection, she is a great sleeper. She goes to bed between 7 and 7:30 and sleeps till 6:30 or 7:00. She loves to be outside on the grass which I find funny. Drew hated the grass at this age and we always had to have a blanket down. Not Kylee, she loves to play with the grass, pull it up, and yes, eat it. Hey, its just added fiber. Don't worry, I don't let her eat. She also likes the swings and had her first experience last week.
Let's see, she is just about ready to crawl. She gets up on all 4's and rocks and will do the motion's but won't move. She has actually been doing this for a while, so who knows when she will actually start crawling. She is in no hurry to grow up and I love it. I just wish her immune system would grow up a bit. She got a darn cold again and had it for 2 weeks until I took her to the doctor. She had a fever Sunday and Monday but I wasn't too worried because Drew had a fever Monday and Tuesday and then Ryan got one Wednesday and Thursday so I just assumed it was a virus. But when her fever was gone on Tuesday, her cough just seemed to be getting worse. Well, her doctor doesn't work on Wednesdays and I wanted to see him since he knows her history, so I took her in on Thursday. I almost didn't even take her in because she really seemed fine, just had a nasty cough but I thought to be safe because we are heading to UT in a few weeks. Well, low and behold, poor Kylee has a double ear infection and tons of mucus in her lungs. The doctor said her left side was so congested, he wasn't sure if it might be the start of pneumonia. Holy Cow was all I could say. Her one ear was so bad, the doctor was surprised she wasn't a crying mess. Kylee loves her doctor and nurse and was all smiles for them both. So now she is one 2 medications, one for her ears and a asthma steroid for her lungs. We get to see the doctor again in 10 days for a follow up and then again 10 days after that for her 9 month appointment. So yes, it's a good thing we have good insurance! That just shows you what a trooper Kylee is and how she doesn't let little things bother her except during nap time and bedtime, but I don't blame her one bit. Who wants to sleep with a nasty double ear infection!
So there's my HUGE long catch up on Kylee. I'm impressed if you made it this far. Anyways, here's hoping next week is a better week. PS: I took all these pictures today except for the one with her lying down with her blanket. That was on Sunday when she had a fever and was just so tired. She actually fell asleep there on the floor till I got the camera out. She was so tired even though it was only 6 PM!

Catching Up on Drew
I know, I am once again horrible at updating my blog. Once again, I apologize. We had 12 showings last week on our house and did get an offer but it was pretty ridiculous. Now we are trying to decide if we should take our house off the market and wait till it gets better. Oh the decisions. It is so hard trying to keep your house clean with 2 little ones, especially a little monster like Drew.
Don't you love how he colored his forehead. Yes, he had fun and got highlighter all over himself, my table, and wall. Then a few days later he found a sharpie and got that all over the wall, just below where he put the highlighter. I ended up just painting over it. But still have evidence on the window ledge that I don't want to paint. Lets see, then he got into the bag balm that I was using on Kylee because she had a horrible diaper rash and smothered it all over my couch. Ryan and I scrubbed it really good and it won't come off but it is slowly fading. I need to try and clean it again and see if it will disappear. Then a few days ago he got into my carmex and smothered that all over the couch and floor. Yes, he is such a terrorist!

Oh What a Week
Yay, I survived. Ryan has been out of town since Monday, and we are going to pick him up at the airport this afternoon. It has been an exhausting and draining week but we survived. I did all the grocery shopping and errands that needed to get done the Saturday before he left so I wouldn't have to worry about anything. I just don't sleep at night as well when Ryan is gone. And to top it off my kids decided to stop sleeping good. Kylee got a cold and is still getting her top 2 teeth in. They are so close but just won't break through. Wednesday night was a rough one for all of us. Kylee was up from 11:30 to 1:30 and then Drew decided 5 AM was a great time to get up. I was lucky to have 4 hours of sleep. So we have just been chillin, but yesterday went to Bounce U and that was fun but exhausting. I think we like Extreme Play better than Bounce U. Extreme Play is so much more open and they have an area where babies can crawl. I had to hold Kylee the whole time at Bounce U unless I opted to let her chill on the floor for a little bit. We rearranged our house a few weeks ago and I had to put my compter away. Ryan's computer is now in our room which I like where it is at, but hate his computer. I like mine and know how to use it and it never gives me issues. Well, this computer always gives me issues so that's why I haven't been blogging as much. But really nothing much to say. Our house is still up for sale and is an exhausting process. We had 6 showings last week and we leave every time someone wants to come and see the house. It will be nice when this house finally sales. I still can't believe May is over. I am officially 29 years old. Ryan suprised me with a new hand mixer. I loved the one I got from my wedding and it broke after 5 1/2 years of wear and the one I replaced it with was crappy. Ryan probably was fed up with it too. I finally used my new mixer yesterday and it is very nice...Thanks Honey!
