Meds Free!!!

This little guy is officially off his acid reflux medicine and couldn't be happier. Every here and there I would purposely, forget to give him his meds to see how he would do, and it was not pretty. So, I haven't tried to "forget" until Friday, when I really did forget. We kept an eye on his puking and no whining whatsoever. So today is the 3rd day and I am starting to see Bryce's old personality really start to shine. He has been so happy today and crawling like crazy. Last week, he figured out how to crawl but wouldn't do it in great strides. Well, Friday, he started to be more adventurous, and by Saturday he was pacing the kitchen floor with his arms and legs. Maybe there is hope for his allergies to milk, soy, and oats. I just need to get the courage and see, I just don't want a grumpy baby for a day or 2 if he still is allergic.

PS: I took this while he was sleeping in the pitch dark. He looked so cute.

Night Out

Gotta love Walmart's entertainment to end a night out! We went to Texas Roadhouse, my favorite, and the kids did great. I think our first successful restaurant trip with all 3 kids. We then stopped at Walmart for a few groceries, with the kids raiding their games/rides room while I checked out. Ryan took this picture so he didn't do a good job with Kylee. She think when you say look at me, it means to raise your head up and look at the camera. She can be quite the booger. But they were so happy to be allowed to play in the game room because on normal shopping trips, I don't allow it. I know, I am such a mean mom!

Finally Crawling, but with the Yuckies!

Bryce is finally crawling, the correct way! The kids I think are more excited than Bryce. It is so fun to see Drew get excited because "Bryce is moving his arms and moving!" All week, he has been crawling one arm worth and then flopping down and scooting stomach style. It's been hilarious to watch, and I think if he didn't get sick Monday, he would have crawled Monday. But he got sick and just didn't want to crawl the correct way. Then yesterday, when he is at the peak of sickness, he decides to crawl correctly. He is happy to finally be able to get into the kids cups of water/milk and their bowls of crackers. Let's just say, the kids are now learning not to put their stuff on the floor rather quickly. So this was Bryce yesterday, and he wasn't a happy camper. I had to run and do some errands in the late morning, after his nap, and he was hacking up a storm everywhere we went. I got so many looks, but I haven't been able to do anything in a week. Kylee had this nasty junk last week and is finally getting back to her old self a week later. We ran out of milk on Monday and I had to get to Gap to do some exchanging before their big sale starting today. I love Gap's clearance rack. Anyway, HURRAY for Bryce! Now, if only he could master his stomach better. ;)

And yes, he sits so well and can go from the crawling position, to the sitting position, like a pro. He's actually been doing that for a week now.

7 Months

This little guy turned 7 months yesterday. Time is flying way too fast. Bryce is finally getting back his cute, happy, bubbly personality he once had. He still loves sweet potatoes, but will now eat other veges if I mix it with fruit. So far he has had bananas, applesauce, and pears, and he loves them all. I am still trying to find some finger foods that fit with his allergies of no soy, milk, or oats, but it has been difficult. He can eat Kix or Chex cereal but can't figure out how to eat the tiny pieces. Bryce loves anything that deals with music and loves his exersaucer and spinning frogger toys.

This is a position you will find him in quite a bit. He looks like he can just about stand and sit up from the crawling position , but it is just him trying to figure out how to crawl. I seriously thought he would be crawling by now, because once Drew got on all 4's and started the motions of crawling, he was off. But Bryce is more laid back and in now hurry to learn to crawl, even though he get super frustrated. He has all the motions in place but the arms. He just can't quite get his arms to move, but he sure has those legs going. It is so funny to watch him, because he will start crawling with his legs, but his arms will stay in lock position and he flops to the ground on his stomach. A few of his favorite activities are swinging, bath time, and chilling in the saucer outside watching Kylee and Drew play. And, I swear this guy is close to 20 lbs. We need to up him to a convertible car seat, because as you can see, the infant car seat is getting a little small.
