The Answer Is...

Drew! Most of you guessed it, so I can't fool you. Now that Bryce is getting older, he is looking more and more like Drew. I think his eyes are different and that's about it. So, if I look at an older picture of Drew, not straight on, I have to ask myself twice who it is. Drew of course was and is my tiny boy so that kind of gives it away. He has a smaller head than Bryce and that gives it away too. But they are starting to have more similarities as Bryce gets older. And, 2 nights in a row that Bryce has slept through the night. YAY!!! I am one happy Mom. The other night we went in there 4 times but last night only once. Just wish Drew wouldn't have gotten up 6 times last night, or it would have been a nice sleep for me!

Who Is This???

I was just about to turn the computer off when I looked at the desktop picture in the background. I couldn't figure out if it was Bryce or Drew. So then I had to search for this picture and finally found it. So who is this?? This isn't the picture I first saw because you would figure it out too easily so here is one that I think may be harder. Maybe it is just me, but I still think these boys look alike.

Update

Well Bryce didn't have the best night, but it didn't help that his brother and sister kept waking him up through out the night. We are now on Prevacid and it is my hero. My sister had some left over from her little boy, so we went out to get it this morning, and he is sleeping so good today. We wanted to try it out first before paying the $50 copay for his own. The car seat didn't last long, but it helped on those really bad days when it was needed. I hope this medicine works better than the last so I can have a good night's sleep. On Monday, thank goodness Ryan was home, but it was the worst day. Bryce wouldn't even take an afternoon nap, but man, he must have been tired because he slept straight through the night without a peep. Besides that night, it has been over a month since Ryan and I had a good sleep. So here's hoping our luck is changing. And these pictures are from Saturday when Bryce had his first vegetable, sweet potato. He really likes them, just needs to learn to not push them out with his tongue!
And don't worry, Christmas is still to come. Just waiting for Ryan to download it.

You Don't Understand How Much I Love This...

What the heck is this picture you might ask? Well, it is my saving grace, my miracle for the day, hopefully for the week. It is Bryce sleeping in his car seat in his crib! Yes, that is my sweet boy underneath his tag blanket, lovie blanket, and big blanket. His acid reflux has been so bad for the past 2 weeks, which means no sleep for me during naps or at night. We went to the doctor this morning and come to find out, he grew 2 pounds in just over a month and wasn't taking enough medicine each time. So, we have upped the dosage from .7 ml to .8 ml. Ya, that's what I said. What is .1 ml going to do? But my doctor assured me it will help and if not, he has typed up a plan B, C, and D in Bryce's file. So now, in 4 days if we are still struggling, all I have to do is call the doctor and we will move to the next plan. Did I ever tell you how much I love my pediatrician??? But he assured me this should work and we can start veges now. So we have quite the adventure ahead of us, but man am I so glad car seats can be used for more than just keeping the little guy safe in the car!

And yes, I thought of this all by myself and could care less how ridiculous it looks, because it worked for both naps today and gosh darn it, it will work for tonight. This mommy needs more than 4 hours of sleep each night!

5 Months and a Roller

Bryce figured out how to roll in bed when he was 3 months old and having really bad stomach aches. But for some reason he wouldn't do it outside of his bed. Well, this past week, he decided to show us all his rolls. Tonight, he was rolling all over the place. Bryce is now 5 months old, and I think this is such a fun stage. He is doing really well on Alimentum formula, and last month we figured out that he is allergic to soy. Thank goodness Beechnut make their rice cereal soy free so now we add that to his bottles to help with his reflux. However, while in Utah after Christmas, his reflux started acting up big time. After 3 sleepless nights and not the best naps, his doctor called in Zantac. I was so happy to get some sleep at night once again. He seems to be a lot happier after being on it for just about a week now. We will keep our fingers crossed it continues to work. I wasn't suppose to feed him any food till his 6 month check up but I think at 5 1/2 months I will feed him one vegetable all week and the next week one fruit. So, by the time he has his 6 month check up, I can tell the doctor we are good to go on all foods, besides soy. You wouldn't believe how many foods have soy in them till you have a child that can't eat it. Anyways, can't wait for the scoot to start!
