We finally went out on our first adventure this morning. Ryan finally put the double stroller together and we took a nice walk around our community. It was really nice outside and both Drew and I needed to get out of the house. Kylee caught Drew's cold over the weekend and was very congested on Monday. She had her second doctor's appointment and the doctor was a little concerned because it could turn into RSV very easily. So we have kept it low key and been hermits again this week. As of Monday, Kylee weighed 6 lbs 10oz. She had almost gained back all her birth weight. I was so impressed and so was the doctor. Now I know she is eating plenty. She has pretty much put herself on a schedule and still sleeps really well. I am just blessed with good babies. Hopefully she stays a sweet angel!
Yesterday was very exciting for Ryan. He found out that he got a good raise....YAY! I think I was more excited than Ryan. Drew and I did a happy dance after I got off the phone with him. It was such an answer to our prayers and just in time to pay for the hospital bills. Congrats Ryan...you deserve every penny!
Last week, Drew had his first experience with Chocolate Pudding. As you can see, he liked it. The last picture is Drew eating lunch and deciding he needed to poop. He can get in the funniest positions when trying to poop!

Has It Already Been a Week??
Time is really flying. I can't believe Kylee is already a week old. This really has been a good week. Drew has been spoiled by my sisters and mom with attention and he now wants to go with them everywhere. He is finally wanting to be by the baby and hold her. I am still working on getting a picture of him holding her...he was having a little attitude tonight.
Kylee had some issues with nursing after being home a day but we are back on track and doing great. Drew is back to sleeping through the night and Kylee is going 4 to 5 hour stretches. So I am getting a few hours of sleep at night which is nice. I am so thankful to live so close to my family. They have been great in helping out with Drew and bringing in meals so I don't have to cook....Thank you!
The only bad thing since having Kylee, besides being cooped up in the house, is not eating chocolate. Do you know how much I love chocolate....well, I don't know how people can get by not eating it. I craved it so much while being pregnant and now I have to stop, but the cravings don't stop. I am going through withdrawals, it is bad. But it is all in the name of a mother's love. For some reason, Kylee is having a hard time with my milk and we narrowed it down to chocolate. Hopefully that is it because I don't think I can bare to get rid of my dairy. So hopefully this is just temporary because hot chocolate season is right around the corner!

But life is great and we are loving our sweet little girl and cute boy! Oh, do you like Drew's haircut? His hair was getting really long and I tried to cut it really fast and totally screwed up. Thank goodness my mom was planning on cutting it that night anyways. She cut it really short. I like it but miss his longer hair sometimes...Ryan has a different opinion!

She's Here!
Kylee Sharon finally made her debut at 1:45 PM. I really can't complain, it was an easy delivery. I stayed at a 7 for a while so at 12:30, the nurse gave me a little petocin to speed up the process. At 1:30ish, the doctor was watching my progress and saw "something on the monitor" and checked me again and I was ready. I pushed 3 times and was only in the pushing position for no more than 5 minutes before she came out. Ryan got to cut the cord and I held her and fell in love immediately. After 30 minutes, I nursed her and boy is she a good nurser! She latched on immediately and ate for 30 minutes...quite the opposite of Drew. The only unpleasant experience I had was throwing up a few times but once I got some medicine, I felt much better. I had the best nurse again and love Banner Gateway Hospital. I think they truly have the best nurses around. Anyway, we are loving our little girl and can't wait for her to meet her big brother!
This isn't the best picture because I brought the camcorder cable for downloading pictures and not the camera one. So tomorrow I will have better pictures.

At the Hospital
We are at the hospital right now. Our little one should be here in a few hours. I had contractions throughout the night but didn't bother me till 5 AM. We headed to the hospital at 7 AM and was dilated to a 5. I got my epidural at 9:00 and at 9:30 I was at a 7. So hopefully just a few more hours! It is just a waiting game now so that is why I am writing this!

It's Finally Fall...well, almost
Today is suppose to be the last day of triple digits here and I am so excited. We are suppose to be in the mid 80's by the weekend. Now in my mind, once you hit the 90's it is fall, even though according to Mother Nature Fall started a week and a half ago. No more 100 temps until next year...YAY!!!! Now I can start to take Drew on walks again and I can let him play in the sand box more because he won't sweat too death. The picture is a result of sweat and sand covering a little boy from head to toe. I am sure we had some poopy sand too the next day! ;) It seriously is a fight every afternoon, telling Drew he can't get in the sand box because I hate cleaning him up. So I try and let him do it every other day when it is bath night. But now, with the cooler temps, I won't care because I can just brush him off easily!
