Best Friends

So yesterday I went to my mom's house and my sister was there with her son Dallin. Drew and Dallin are 3 months apart. We have never laid them next to each other and yesterday my sister decided to see what would happen. They were so cute. They locked arms and held each others hands. Then, Drew decided to take Dallin's binky out of his mouth so then Dallin took Drew's out of his mouth. It was as if they knew how to play with each other. I know they were friends in heaven and hopefully they stay the best of friends!

Our Big Boy

Drew loves his Woosit! Trying to get the Woosit.

He likes to sit like a gorrilla.
Just chillin...
and posing for the camera!

Drew has officially learned how to sit up. All day yesterday I tried to get him to sit by himself but after 5 seconds he would lean to the floor. Today, for some reason, he sat all by himself. It was so cute. He is growing up so fast. He now rolls on the floor to get his toys. It is the cutest things. He is trying to figure out how to scoot but can't quite get there. Sometimes he will rock himself back and forth to reach for the toy. Other times he will change his position so he can roll to it. He is quite smart. I know most people dread when their children learn to crawl but we are actually excited and can't wait. I might eat my words later but we will see. He is at a fun stage now where he can sit and play with toys. We will try that tomorrow. He is doing very well at night now. I feed him cereal before bedtime and he sleeps 10-11 hours. I can't wait until it is 12 hours. I will be in heaven then!

Ryan Graduated!!!

I am so proud of my husband. On May, 10, he graduated from ASU with a bachelors in Applied Psychology. It is hard working 40 hours a week and going to school full time on top of that. He has worked really hard and I am so proud of his accomplishment. We are just crossing our fingers that a job will come into place. I put my resignation in already at school and am not going back to teach in the fall, YAY! I will teach summer school just to make sure we can pay the bills till Ryan figures out what he is doing, but summer school is only 4 hours Monday through Thursday with only 3 hours a day for teaching, and it is only in June. But anyway......GO RYAN!

Drew Just Chillin

It is official...Drew can finally put himself to sleep without crying, at least when it is bedtime. Now if only he could do that with his naps. Last night Drew had one of his best nights in a few weeks. He slept from 7:30PM to 5:15AM without needing a pat on the back!! I was in heaven. Lately he has been waking up at 1,2,or3 AM and can't fall back to sleep without me patting his back. Sometimes he is on his back and needs to be put back on his tummy. I was getting very frustrated and a little sleep deprived. When I checked him last night before going to bed, he was on his back doing a spread eagle. It was quite the sight and would have taken a picture but our camcorder doesn't have a flash. Tonight I checked on him 15 minutes after putting him down because he made no peeps and he is in his crib on his back just chillin, looking at the ceiling. I quickly left and checked on him 2 hours later and he was asleep on his back again. Hopefully tonight is another good night. I will let you know. I am just glad he is finally OK to sleep on his back again. The first 2 months, Drew could only sleep on his back then he decided he liked his tummy better and couldn't stand his back. It has been hard with him rolling onto his back while sleeping, and not wanting to sleep in that position. YAAAAYYYY!!!! Hurray for Drew!
