This picture was taken the end of December with Ryan's family up in Utah. Let's just say we didn't like the photographer. I would post the big family picture we got but there's only one good one and Ryan looks like a complete dork and will kill me if I post it. Seriously, in all our pictures he thinks he has to caulk his head. He used to tell me the photographer always tells him to tilt his head, but it's not the case. Especially for these pictures because the photographer didn't tell us anything. The truth, he just naturally tilts his head, and I try to remind him not to, but in this case, I was too busy trying to not strangle my daughter who wouldn't cooperate. She was quite the booger. Anyways, I got the picture oh about a month ago and just haven't posted it yet, so there you have it.
We had a nice Easter. I didn't do much in regards to Easter baskets, because I try to keep it in tune with the true meaning of Easter. This year the dollar store was my friend. The kids loved their baskets and Kylee was more concerned about stuffing her face with any candy she could find and Drew was content just playing with his new Thomas Train that is battery powered, thank you Ebay! I had to show Kylee that the Easter Bunny brought her some new church sandals but that still wasn't as loved as her candy. I only filled 4 eggs each, so after a little bit, her candy was gone and she was off to Drew, begging him for his candy. It was fun, especially when I made then wait and eat their peeps after church. You would have thought I threw their candy in the trash. Yes, they love Peeps. We even got bunny tracks at our door with a special surprise on our door. The kids always love to find the Easter Bunny's tracks (thanks Mom). We went to church and then later in the afternoon went to my Mom and Dad's for a nice ham dinner and egg hunt. It was the perfect low key Easter we like.
