What's Been Happening

I know I have been horrible about updating our blog. Life is staying busy and exhausting. After enjoying conference, we went to Mark and Mary's house for a delicious dinner. Drew had fun exploring the stairs and the backyard. We even had a casulty of a lamp Drew broke.

Then, this past Wednesday we went to the zoo. I wanted to go before it got too hot and it was a perfect day with a light breeze. Drew really enjoyed looking at all the animals and birds. He did really well being in his stroller for 2 hours. The last hour he was ancy and tired. But we made it through and glad we went. His favorite I think was all the different birds. Birds and ducks are a favorite of his.

Then, this week we finally bought two new trees to replace our 2 ficus trees that died last January during the huge freeze here in AZ. We bought an apricot and cocktail tree. Both are suppose to produce fruit next year. A few years ago, we planted a lemon and grapefruit tree and hope to get fruit out of them next spring or whenever they are suppose to bloom. So we are really excited. Drew loved helping Ryan outside. Last Saturday Ryan was moving gravel from the backyard to the front and Drew was his little shadow. It was so cute. He even helped throw a few rocks in the wheelbarrow. Can't wait till he is old enough to actually do some real helping with Ryan!!

So I think I am all caught up by now. Just a few more weeks and Drew gets to go into Nursery and we cannot wait.
