Moving Up!
So this girl only lasted maybe 2 weeks on her toddler bed before we had to move up to a regular bed. I guess I just have very wiggly kids when they sleep. At first she did great. She stayed on her toddler bed and didn't get off till I came and got her up. Then she discovered the floor and for some reason found it more comfortable sleeping there than on her bed. I was constantly going in and putting her on her bed, even after she fell asleep. Even worse, she thought it was fun to squeeze underneath her toddler bed and fall asleep only to wake up in the middle of the night terrified for not knowing where she was. My mom suggested just buying a sleeping bag and letting her stay on the floor. I agreed but then she found that little space between the bottom of the door and carpet and found it fun to look out into the hallway. I finally gave in to the big bed when I went to check on her before going to bed and she looked so uncomfortable laying sideways in her toddler bed with her head on the wood on one side and her feet propped up against the wood on the other side. Poor thing needed a bigger bed that is raised off the ground to keep her from being tempted to play on the ground. So we took the trundle bed from under Drew's bed and brought it into Kylee's room. I bought her new sheets to celebrate the new bed and crossed my fingers this would work. Well, we did see a little progress immediately but not a whole lot, but now we only find her playing by her door when she is having a hard time falling asleep. She is so good to stay on her bed and seems to really love the extra space. I am happy because now I can store things under Drew's bed that I didn't know what to do with before. Next goal to conquer: Potty Training!
