My little boy is growing up so fast and has become quite the big helper. He loves to help empty the dishwasher, vacuum with the big vacuum, and feed Gizmo, of course with our help. He will now get a diaper when I ask for it and bring it to the rug and lay down and wait for me to come and change his diaper. It has been nice because before he would fight me to change his diaper. Then, when he is all done, he has to throw it away in the dirty diaper pail. It is so cute. We just can't get enough of him. When it is nap time or bedtime, I can't read to him or rock him anymore. He just wants to get right into his bed and go to sleep. Yes, he plays around for a few minutes sometimes but usually goes right to sleep. Ryan is the lucky one who still has the pleasure of reading and rocking with Drew.

Drew is totally a Daddy's boy. When Ryan was changing my car's battery, Drew had to be right there to watch and help. Now that Drew is 18 months, he goes to Nursery for church and boy does he love it. Ryan went 2 times with him just because we took him in a few weeks early and he had to have supervision but once the 1st of June came, he went in all by himself without any problems. He has 2 specific toys he plays with and his teachers are great and make sure one is available when he gets there.

I finally switched doctors for his 18 month check up and love his new pediatrician. She was awesome and her Nurse was even better. I waited 30 sec and then was called back. It was so nice. We now go to Mesa Pediatrics and it is just a few miles away. They even have a covered playground outside for kids to play on. Drew loved that part. He officially weighs 22 lbs and is 31 inches tall. He is still in the 5-10% for weight but 10-25% for height so we are excited to finally see him grow a little taller. We just love our little man!
Drew loves drinking from a regular cup and now puts his sippy cup inside the cup so he can drink. Otherwise, he spills all the water on himself, as you can see from the picture.!
